Ukrainian SBGS - Lisichansk Border Detachment
Nordisk Sikkerhet AS provided the Lisichansk border detachment of the State Border Guard Service (SBGS) of Ukraine with technical means and training for nuclear and radiological materials control.
The Lisichansk border detachment is a newly established SBGS border detachment in the East of Ukraine. SBGS strives to establish fundamental detection capabilities following current safety standards, and to enhance preparedness for post-detection event mitigation in the Lisichansk region. This project contributed to these goals.
3 September 2018 - Project grant application submitted to Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority (NRPA);
24 October 2018 - Project grant application revised and resubmitted to NRPA;
06 November 2018 - Project approved by NRPA;
05 December 2018 - Meeting between Nordisk Sikkerhet and SBGS in Kyiv for detailed planning and preparation for project execution;
28 Feb 2019 - project registration as international technical assistance (Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, project registration card nr. 4058);
RN Material Hand Held Detectors and Personal Dosimeters:
11 Feb 2019 - Nordisk Sikkerhet AS announced opening of the tender for the supply of twenty (20) RN material hand-held detectors and twenty (20) personal dosimeters (Doffin ref. #2019-389464; TED EU ref. # 2019/S 144-355896);
Isotope Identification Devices (Gamma Spectrometers):
08 May 2019 - Privately Owned Enterprise ‘BROM’ (Ukraine) was announced as a winner of this tender;
30 Aug 2019 - contract for supply of 5 isotope identification devices (gamma spectrometers) was signed between Nordisk Sikkerhet and POE ‘BROM’;
Data Panels and Detection Units for Automatic Radiation Monitoring:
11 Feb 2019 - Nordisk Sikkerhet AS announced opening of the tender for the supply of five (5) sets of data panels and detection units for automatic radiation monitoring of the environment (Doffin ref. #2019-383224; TED EU ref. # 2019/S 144-355893);
