Nordisk Sikkerhet participates in second "Valahia-2016" planning meeting in The Hague

Nordisk Sikkerhet expert Pavel Tishakov attended the second consultancy meeting for the upcoming "Valahia-2016” exercise to be held in Romania on 3 October 2016. The exercise will provide Romanian emergency response personnel with an opportunity to train and improve their response methods and coordination during emergency situations. At the meeting, participants drafted a concrete activity plan as well as the division of responsibilities for the ongoing exercise preparations.
The meeting was held in The Hague, Netherlands, and was attended by representatives of Nordisk Sikkerhet, the Romanian National Commission for Nuclear Activities Control (CNCAN), Cernavoda nuclear power plant (CNPP), the Romanian General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the General Secretariat of the Romanian Government (SGG), the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority (NRPA), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and International Safety Research (ISR). Nordisk Sikkerhet, operating as a subcontractor of International Safety Research, is assisting with the planning and preparation of the exercise.
The third consultancy meeting for "Valahia-2016” will be held in early June.
